About The Role:
Our client is currently seeking an experienced and motivated HR Officer & Human Resources Consultant to join a dynamic government department on a initial short-term contract with the possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful HR initiatives in the public sector and work alongside a supportive and professional team.
This role involves providing generalist HR support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and workforce planning, while maintaining accurate records, supporting HR policy improvements, and advising on best practices aligned with government standards.

About You: - Proven experience in a similar HR Officer or Consultant role, preferably within the public sector
- Strong understanding of employment legislation, HR policies, and public service frameworks
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferable)
