Working in a culture of ownership, you will drive activity to identify and gain new business opportunities using innovative techniques to maintain a strong sales pipeline. Generating leads, cold calling and attending sales calls to new clients. Prompt and efficient response to new client requests. Engage in networking and profile building.
You will have the support of an experienced customer service and operations team however have the flexibility to be involved with compiling your own quotes etc. if you so desire. Whilst the branch is based on the Gold Coast, you have the opportunity to target business anywhere in QLD and structure your week as you see fit, with weekly CRM reporting and sales meeting to discuss pipeline and activity.
You will be professionally presented with strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to network, foster relationships and to quickly become familiar with the company’s service offering in order to translate client’s requirements into best solutions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, the drive and passion for achieving results, and a proven track record of sales across the freight forwarding sector essential.
