Managing a portfolio of import clients, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure continuous client satisfaction by managing customer inquiries efficiently and effectively.
• Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders to foster sustainable partnerships.
• Prompt attention to client quote request, coordinate relevant information with overseas offices.
• Liaison with airline, shipping lines, agencies and other relevant parties to request rate and service information.
• Manage purchase orders, track shipments, and provide regular updates while maintaining accurate status reports.
• Update and manage rate schedules and client records to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Provide support to the sales and operations teams by offering advice, assistance, and timely information.
• Assist in the implementation of new business initiatives and the onboarding of new clients.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ recent experience in the international freight forwarding industry, with a focus on Customer Service or Import Operations.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
