Managing a portfolio of import clients, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure continuous client satisfaction by managing customer inquiries efficiently and effectively.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders to foster sustainable partnerships.
- Prompt attention to client quote request, coordinate information with overseas offices.
- Liaison with airline, shipping lines, agencies and other relevant parties to request rate and service information.
- Manage purchase orders, track shipments, and provide regular updates while maintaining accurate status reports.
- Update and manage rate schedules and client records.
- Provide support to the sales and operations team through provision of advice and assistance.
- Support the implementation of new business.
We are seeking a passionate and motivated team player with a minimum of 2-3 years’ recent experience within the international freight forwarding industry, particularly in a Customer Service or Import Operations capacity. This position required a professional demeanor, strong communication and a customer focused mindset. The ideal candidate will excel at building strong relationships, resolving issues efficiently, and thrive in a fast paced environment.
