Pace Appointments is proudly partnering with a key client located on the southside of Brisbane to recruit a Workshop Technician – Electrical/Diesel for a full-time role within a dynamic and safety-focused team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical fit-outs on new and used equipment.
• Assist with manufacturing, fault finding, and repairs on diesel-powered gear including generators, welders, compressors, and lighting towers.
• Support general workshop tasks and physically intensive work as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Accurately complete paperwork and update the Production Coordinator on job progress.
• Follow company procedures and safety policies at all times.
• Occasionally liaise with internal teams regarding product, delivery, or warranty matters.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Follow health and safety guidelines proactively.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship with minimal rework or warranty claims.
• Complete jobs efficiently and on schedule.
• Maintain strong attendance and punctuality.

Role Requirements:

• Experience working on diesel generators or industrial equipment.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Able to read and work from electrical schematics.
• Capable of completing repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
• Confident in communicating with customers and providing technical support.
• Solid problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Reliable, motivated, and hands-on attitude.
