Joining a medium size team within a busy factory environment, you will be responsible for the supervision of continuous production lines and driving improvements in efficiency, safety, and quality.  While it's essential that you satisfy the technical skill set to perform the inherent requirements of the role, your genuine passion for what you do and an exemplary safety ethos will shine through!

Scope
The successful candidate will demonstrate previous experience leading production environments underpinned by LEAN manufacturing principles whilst meeting DIFOT targets and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

In addition to your solid leadership in manufacturing, coupled with the ability to think laterally when faced with challenges, your referees will attest to your unwavering commitment to upholding the safety of yourself and others, your reliability and innate customer focus.  Guiding production and fabrication teams with a hands-on management approach, you will also;

• Foster and promote a safety first culture whilst ensuring production targets and service levels align;
• Utilize real-time monitoring (RTM) data to reduce material and labor waste whilst driving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements;
• Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs to enhance reliability and reduce downtime;

Success Profile

Critical

• Experience in LEAN manufacturing;
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of production procedures;
• Demonstrated experience leading teams in dynamic production environments;
• Hold a current Forklift license.

Desirable

• COR Training 
• Current First Aid Certificate
