Maintenance Electrician – FMCG Plants
Location: Brisbane – North or South (You Pick)
Salary: $45ph - $55ph + penalties + super
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role
We are seeking multiple Maintenance Electricians to join established maintenance teams of up to 10 tradespersons. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on, safety-conscious professional with a strong electrical background. With recent expansions and upgrades, we require electricians who can handle fast-paced breakdown work with zero downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery across various FMCG industries.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure equipment reliability.
• Conduct electrical upgrades, installations, and modifications as required.
• Support expansion projects and electrical equipment upgrades.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For

• Trade qualification as an Electrician (Cert III in Electrotechnology or equivalent).
• Experience across manufacturing, FMCG, industrial, mining, or processing sectors is highly regarded.
• PLC and VFD experience (highly desirable).
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, and control panels.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced breakdown environment with zero downtime.
• Physically fit, able to climb 10kg steps, and work efficiently in a dynamic setting.
• Must have own transport and be willing to obtain necessary vaccinations/Pre Employment Medicals.
• Open to female candidates and 3rd or 4th-year apprentices looking to build a career in electrical maintenance.
