Salary: $40 - $45 per hour (depending on experience)
Shifts: (Monday to Friday)

• Early Morning Shift:  0400 – 12:30
• Day Shift: 0600 – 14:30
• Afternoon Shift: 14:00 – 22:30
  
  

About the Role:
Looking for a Maintenance Fitters to become an integral part of the maintenance team at a South Brisbane sight. This hands-on role will involve maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. You’ll play a vital role in supporting production, ensuring the machinery is running smoothly, and contributing to the success of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of mechanical equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize production downtime.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvements.
• Maintain a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure machinery is running efficiently and on schedule.

What We’re Looking For:

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting and Turning).
• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting. FMCG experience highly regarded
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
• A self-motivated individual who is organized and able to manage tasks independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of work.
