Having worked in a similar position to afford sage advice to customers and credibility through experience, you are fueled by an innate passion for what you do! Comfortable in sales, account managing existing clients and identifying and establishing opportunities, you will naturally find satisfaction in providing class customer service and support.
Scope: Between identifying customer needs and suitable solutions,
you’ll have the background and technical knowledge to be able to provide the right quality products and effectively market the distribution of feed and supplements. You will support the sales cycle right through, with cyclical activity including:
- Maintaining industry presence at relevant events and currency around market share, opportunity, intel and emerging products or innovation;
- Providing detailed product feedback to technical services, production and management;
- Setting prices, quoting, reporting monthly on variations and margin activity and providing accurate sales forecasts against budget.
Success Profile: - Proven experience in a sales / business development role in animal feed/health/supplements/nutrition;
- The drive to autonomously build your territory + loyal customer base through consistency;
- Ability to travel often including some overnight stays (if required).
