Specialising in Sea Freight, our client is a leading freight forwarder looking for an expert to contribute to their sea freight operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing plans to align the sea freight department with company objectives and growth targets
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and addressing concerns.
• Assist in overseeing and optimising sea freight operations by implementing efficient processes and procedures.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure legal and procedural adherence.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality standards.
• Collaborate with shipping lines, carriers, and vendors to negotiate competitive rates and streamline logistics.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in sea freight operations, ideally within freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipping regulations.
• A proactive, detail-oriented individual with outstanding organisational skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Experience with industry software, particularly CargoWise, is essential.
• Freight of All Kinds (FAK) experience desirable.
