Customs & Transport Coordinator – Global Logistics Leader

The Role: As a Transport Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of freight movements and customs clearance processes. Your responsibilities will include:

✔️ Managing transport operations, booking deliveries, and handling billing and accounting tasks
✔️ Accurately updating system databases with relevant information
✔️ Liaising professionally with internal and external stakeholders
✔️ Assisting with the preparation of customs clearance declarations in compliance with regulations
✔️ Ensuring timely submission of required documentation
✔️ Responding to queries efficiently within operational timeframes
✔️ Completing designated training and ongoing professional development

About You: To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

✔️ Knowledge of government regulations and customs import operations
✔️ Familiarity with road transport operations (FCL knowledge is a plus)
✔️ A good understanding of international freight shipping terms
✔️ Mathematical and accounting knowledge
✔️ Geographical awareness and an understanding of the movement of goods
✔️ A proactive attitude with excellent communication and organisational skills
