Pace Appointments is proud to be partnering with our valued client located on Brisbane’s southside to recruit a Workshop and Field Service Technician. This hands-on role involves scheduled servicing of new equipment in the workshop and carrying out field repairs efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service and repair machinery under warranty
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults
• Complete repairs and maintenance within set timeframes
• Keep the workshop clean and organized
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow OH&S procedures
• Comply with company quality standards and processes
• Raise and manage purchase orders linked to repair jobs
• Allocate work to technicians or approved contractors
• Monitor job hours and technician productivity
• Support field technicians with technical advice
• Communicate repair progress, timelines, and costs to customers
• Assess warranty validity and process accordingly
• Return unused parts to stock and liaise with parts department
• Maintain a tidy and efficient workspace and uphold environmental standards

Requirements:

• Trade-qualified with experience maintaining construction equipment
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic ability
• Commitment to safety and quality compliance
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to follow procedures and support team performance
