Pace Vic is excited to partner with a market leading organisation with the FMCG space who are now on the lookout for an experienced export professional to join their tight-knit, committed team. This is a varied role coordinating export orders to worldwide customers that will include:
- Liaising with official organisations (eg. DAWR, VECCI, AACCI, ABF, foreign embassies, DFAT etc) to ensure export documentation meets importing country requirements
- Assisting traders and finance department with enquiries on the status of any document, shipment status, invoice or other matter relating to imports, domestic and distribution business
- Co-ordinating the loading of containers with warehouse and transport companies, and the lodging of PRAs once containers are loaded
- Liaising with shipping lines for B/Ls and freight invoices
- Lodging documents with bank – L/C and bank draft
- Keeping customers, suppliers and all relevant stakeholders informed on schedules and updates for all files (eg. booking & shipment schedules, document dispatch & change requirements)
About you:
- At least 3 years experience in an Export role
- Previous experience working with perishable goods is highly desired
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and experience processing full suite of export documentation
- Intermediate - advanced MS Office skills (particularly Excel)
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- A proactive, can-do attitude
It is essential that you have previous experience with the preparation of export documentation and can demonstrate very high attention to detail working in an FMCG exporter. You must have the ability to work effectively in a close team environment and be able to multitask.
