In this dynamic and hands-on role, you will be responsible for managing the picking and dispatch processes, ensuring the seamless routing of delivery runs, and allocating resources effectively to optimize performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure accuracy in the pick process and mitigate errors.
- Actively assist the picking team and prepare essential documentation for drivers (sheet runs, invoices, keys).
- Monitor KPI results and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Lead and manage night shift staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to training schedules.
- Conduct Toolbox meetings and oversee return-to-work processes.
- Continuously update and review staff training requirements.
- Identify and address safety hazards, ensuring compliance with HACCP policies and company standards.
- Participate in OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) meetings and promote a safe working environment.
- Foster a positive team culture that reflects company values.
- Support employee rewards programs and promote morale across the workforce.
About You: - At least 3 years in warehouse, inventory or transport/logistics management.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and routing delivery runs efficiently.
- A current forklift license is required.
- Proven experience in managing teams and driving change management initiatives.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management capabilities.
- Comfortable working in cold storage environments and managing multiple locations.
