Due to the sustained growth of their business, they are now on the lookout for an experienced Senior Trader / Export Sales Manager to join their Meat division.
The successful candidate will enjoy autonomy in maintaining and growing market share within the meat product trade space backed by an expert team and engaged management. About the role:
- Prepare annual personal sales forecast and develop market strategies to achieve required profit targets.
- Identify and develop trade opportunities to global markets where Australian and International origin meat gain access.
- Build strong relationships with a broad range of buyers, sellers and other third parties.
- Leverage knowledge / experience to grow deeper and wider relationships in customer’s organisation.
- Set a productive travel schedule to enable regular face-to-face meetings with key customers.
- Achieve profit growth targets.
- Ensure all international contract terms and trading regulations are observed at all times.
What does the role require? - Minimum 5 years of experience in International Trade, with experience trading across a range of global markets.
- At least 3 years trading experience within the Meat industry is essential.
- A thorough understanding of international trading terms and risk management.
- Solutions focused and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel across Australia and overseas at regular intervals.
