Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position will see you sourcing leads, contacting prospective clients to explain the full range of supply chain options on offer and visiting them to present proposals. This position is all about building and maintaining relationships therefore it requires a confident, focused individual who understands the demands of business development within this highly competitive industry.

What do you need to bring to the table?

• Recent sales experience gained specifically within the Melbourne forwarding market - you MUST understand the local market and be selling (or have recently sold) for another forwarder.
• The desire to sell; this position won't suit anyone who is burnt out and wants to move into account management!  You need the energy and self motivation to get out there and sell!
• The drive to succeed; a highly negotiable salary and commission package is on offer depending on the experience and attributes you can bring to the table
