International freight and customs business with offices strategically placed around the globe to service their growing client lists every import and export in and out of country. Open office plan with 10 staff and a national team of 35 and international team of 200+. Modern system integration with clients for live visibility tracking, training and interstate collaborations as well as weekly team catch ups for progress and internal development.
The RoleAs the customer service coordinator, you will have your own list of clients that you will look after for all of their import sea and air, FCL & LCL shipments into country from all over the world. Routings, bookings management, as well as spot quotes and general trouble shooting issues for your clients daily requirements and queries. This role is the best way to develop and adapt into an account manager and key account manager.
Duties & Responsibilities - Organising all routing and bookings for your clients
- Liaising with external and internal teams daily
- Liaising with overseas offices, agents and suppliers
- Updating purchase order lists in the company live update program
- Quoting new trade lanes and adhoc shipments
- Setting up new client SOP's and updates
Skills & Experience - Freight Forwarding experience a must
- Incoterms understanding
- Quoting experience, advantageous
- Confidence over phone and email with clients
- International forwarding customer service, desirable
- Import Operations exposure
