The Role Joining a Customs Supervisor (hands on broker) as well as a compiler/classifier, your role will be covering all entries and lodgments for a list of your own clients inbound cargo from all over the world into Sydney. This role is perfect for the broker with only a couple years experience or recently acquired their Australian customs broker license looking for a mentor to help them develop into a fully rounded broker with experience in all facets of Australian customs.
Duties & Responsibilities - Customs entries and lodgments for all inbound Sydney cargo
- Liaising with clients and customs daily
- Liaising with internal departments
- Problem solving and compliance
- Duty drawbacks
- Tariff advice and concessions
Skills & Experience - Australian Customs Broker license
- Freight Forwarding background
- DG cargo exposure, advantageous
- Classification of a wide range of commodities, desirable
- Cargowise platform exposure, desirable
- Team player attitude
