Our client is a very well established, reputable international forwarder that boast a stable, experienced team at their Melbourne branch (head office for Australia), the latest in industry software and a supportive, hands on management team. Due to continued growth and success they are now moving forward with starting their Customs department and need an experienced Customs Broker / Manager to take the reins!
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this position will see you getting involved from the ground up; the license application has already been lodged, so they now need the right individual to assist with the recruitment of staff, integration of clients and implementation of processes. To be considered for this position applicants must hold an Australian Customs Brokers License. Stability is incredibly important to this team therefore you must be able to demonstrate a stable employment record. You are motivated and enthusiastic and you enjoy client interaction. This role will only suit an individual who is happy to initially get involved in all aspects of clearance to include compile and classification; if you are looking for variety and an exciting challenge, here it is!
