The Role Covering all import operations for your own portfolio of clients (mainly sea freight), you will be in contact with overseas suppliers and offices to organise international customer service routing/bookings, PO reporting, notifications to local client, cargo automation, invoicing and domestic cartage. This is role perfect for the time management, prioritisation minded individual that thrive on "spinning plates", wearing multiple department hats and executing.
Duties & Responsibilities - Organising all import routing and bookings (mainly sea freight)
- Liaising with external and internal teams daily
- Liaising with overseas offices, agents and suppliers
- FCL, LCL domestic cartage transport bookings
- Client contact for updates and trouble shooting daily
- Notifications for pre-alert | Arrival | Outturn reports
Skills & Experience - Freight Forwarding experience a must
- Import operation s background
- International customer service experience, desired
- Domestic sea freight cartage experience, desired
- Invoicing | Cargo automation
- Cargowise system exposure, advantageous
