The Client

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be given a small list of accounts that are of high importance due to the numbers they move in and out of the country. Supply chain solutions and a strategic approach on how to enhance the clients experience with the business and keeping them up to date with all the goings on of their cargo and future shipments and ideas of how to fix problems that are yet to happen. MBR/QBR presentations, client meet ups, liaising with operations, sales support teams to assist in your data findings.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage your own small list of key accounts
• Get to understand the clients business inside and out
• MBR/QBR presentations
• Monthly in person meetings with company stakeholders
• Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers/vendors 
• Setting up new client SOP's and updates

Skills & Experience

• Freight Forwarding experience a must
• Preferably someone currently in an Account Management role  
• MBR and QBR presentation skills
• Quoting and negotiation experience
• Confidence over phone, email and in person with clients
• Excel and Cargowise/CW1 confidence
