We are partnering with a well-established market leader in the freight forwarding industry to recruit a
National Client Services Manager. This pivotal role will oversee a small, high-performing team across
Sydney and
Melbourne while ensuring outstanding customer service and operational excellence across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Client Services professionals in Sydney and Melbourne, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Manage and nurture key client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and timely solutions for their freight forwarding needs.
- Collaborate with internal departments to drive service excellence and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies for client retention, service improvement, and business growth.
- Monitor and report on team performance, customer satisfaction, and KPIs, taking proactive steps to address any service gaps.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Work closely with senior management, providing regular updates on team performance, client feedback, and business opportunities.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a client services management within the freight forwarding industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of overseeing teams in multiple locations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding processes, including international shipping, customs, and logistics.
- Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
